Altınözü Livelihood Facility

The “Production Heals” Project is being implemented at the facility located in Altınözü, Hatay, with Altınözü Municipality and HAZEK Cooperative as joint beneficiaries. The project aims to enhance the vocational skills of women and young people while empowering women socially and economically in the aftermath of the earthquake disaster.

What’s in the Center?

As part of the project, an industrial kitchen and a beauty salon have been established within the center.

What is Produced at the Facility?

• Cimem bags and accessories made using Hatay’s traditional wheat straw weaving technique

• Geographically indicated local food products
